Rick Sangre is a character in the Dexter Novels.
He is a reporter for Channel 7 News. According to Dexter Morgan, Rick Sangre "believed that the gorier a story was, the more vital it was for people to have a free press that could fill them in on as many gruesome details as possible."

Sangre is present at the penultimate crime scene of the Tamiami Slasher. He is accompanied by Eric the Viking, a columnist.
Three bloodless heads are found, and Sangre insists on taking pictures of them. When Detective Migdia LaGuerta refuses, he begins to ask her questions about the killer. Captain Matthews appears, furious at LaGuerta. Sangre is forcefully escorted off the scene by Albert Doakes. He immediately starts his camera rolling.
He shows up at the first known crime scene of Dr. Danco.
