Randy MacGregor is a character from Dearly Devoted Dexter. He was a real estate agent who raped and killed young boys. He was Dexter's first kill in Dearly Devoted Dexter.

Randy MacGregor, before Dexter started to investigate him, had killed at least five young boys after selling houses to their families. He was divorced and lived in a small concrete house off Old Cutler Road in South Miami. He owned a twenty-six-foot cabin cruiser at Matheson Hammock Marina where he took his victims to rape and kill them. His boat was equip with children's films like Spider-Man and Finding Nemo, a drawer was filled with candy, another with action figures, and one with duct tape. After he was done raping them he either killed them first then tied them to an anchor or tied them on when alive to kill them by drowning. He kept photographs of his victims which were taken by his accomplice, Steve Reiker. Randy's last words before Dexter kills him were "I hope one of them was yours." He was killed on his boat.

Reiker had CD's with the names of GREENFIELD and LOPEZ on the desk were Dexter found the NAMBLA footage. Both names could belong to possible victims of both him and Reiker.

  • Although not by name, Dexter makes a reference to Randy McGregor when searching information for Zander in Dexter in the Dark. Dexter states a recent friend of him taught him that boats can be a good place to hide one's secrets.
