Nicholas Galway, often called Father Galway, is a character in Dexter, introduced in Season Six. Galway was the owner of Santa Maria de Laredo, before it was abandoned and later used as a staging point for the Doomsday Killings.
Galway currently resides in a retirement home, and has a severe case of dementia. When Dexter comes to visit him, he mistakes him for someone from his past. After a short while, Dexter realizes how severe Galway's case is, and confesses to being a serial killer.
At first Galway tells Dexter that murder is a mortal sin, but forgets shortly after saying so, and forgets what he was doing. Dexter reminds him that he was in the middle of forgiving him for his sins. Galway then forgives Dexter for all of his past sins, including the murders he has committed.
