Mrs. Sota was the wife of Oscar Sota, one of the Bay Harbor Butcher 18, i.e. the 18 confirmed victim's of the Bay Harbor Butcher found in Biscayne Bay.

She was strongly dedicated to her husband and insulted deeply when then-Detective Angel Batista constantly implies that he must have been a murderer (since he's one of the Butcher's victims) and demands her to give him a clue or a hint that would help him prove as such. Angel later comes to her home and apologizes for his behaviour, saying that he had a bad day and faced a lot of pressure at work, but should not have taken it out on her. He then walks away, but as he is doing so, Mrs. Sota tells him that Oscar kept guns in the wall and Angel was eventually had evidence of him being a murderer.
