Monique Gabriela Curnen (born 7 September 1970) is an American film and television actress.

In 2006, she played Yelina, a maid, on Showtime's series DEXTER.

Personal Life[]

She grew up in Framingham, Massachusetts and went to Williams College. After college, she spent a year as an intern at the Minority Cultural Center, at Connecticut College in New London. She then moved to New York and started taking acting classes and going to auditions.

She caught the acting bug on a trip to watch one of her older brothers perform in a school pit orchestra.^[1]
Her mother is from Puerto Rico, and her father is of German and Irish descent.^[2]
