Samuel's father was a popular man in town known as Mister and even Sam himself called him such, despite not even knowing what his father's profession was.
One night, Mister took Sam to a house and told him to ring the doorbell for him. When the owner answered, the man looked at Sam, unsure of what was going on. Suddenly, from behind Sam, Mister stood with a pistol aimed at the stranger's face and shot him right in front of Sam. Mister then picked up his shocked son, who was covered in blood, and calmly drove off, as if the entire experience was normal for him. On the way home, Mister praised Sam for helping him.
It certainly wasn't normal for young Sam who was deeply affected and, later, became a career criminal and a killer himself. He was able, though, to find a way out of this lifestyle via religion. He then made it his mission to help other ex-cons.
- Unknown number of victims that Mister is presumed to have killed before the incident with Sam
