He is confirmed via a slide-show presentation during the manhunt for Sergeant James Doakes as the "Bay Harbor Butcher". He is one of many characters killed in fact by Dexter Morgan and for some reason actually has his body physically shown on the slide show, suggesting that he may be one of the Bay Harbor Butcher 18.
