Gene Figg is Camilla Figg's deceased husband.
He died from lung cancer a year before she was, in turn, diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Camilla frequently mentions him when visited by Dexter Morgan in the hospital. She twice expressed her eagerness to see Gene "on the other side."
