Detective Dan is a character in Season One of Showtime's series DEXTER.
He is a detective working in the Miami Metro Police Department, along with coworkers Detective Sue and Dexter Morgan.
Description[]
Dan is a man in his 40s with a slightly wrinkled face, complimented by a brown (almost orange) mustache and somewhat fuzzy hair. He wears the typical "detective" outfit of brown pants with suspenders and a tie with a white shirt.
Personality[]
Dan speaks in somewhat of a joking manner, like his coworker Detective Sue. Not much else can be said about him, as he moves on to talk with other officers (most likely about cases).
Summary[]
Dan appears along with Detective Sue as Dexter enters the Miami Metro Police Department, after returning from an Ice Truck Killer crime scene. With him, he carries a large box of donuts. Dan and Sue are among the first police officers to eagerly take one of the donuts. When Dan asks Dexter about his family, he plays it off with a shrug and a smile.
Sue takes a bite of her donut and asks Dexter if they will see him at the next "blood bath," referring to the next crime scene. Dexter replies that he never misses a "party". The two smirk at Dexter and go their separate ways to continue on with their work day.
