Camilla Figg is a character in DEXTER. She was an employee of the Miami Metro Police Station.
Plot
Edit
She was a records supervisor. She and her husband, Gene, were good friends with Harry and his wife. She also knew Dexter and Debra while they were children and was still very good friends with Dexter who often brought donuts to her workplace at the records room. She knew far more about Dexter's past than she let on to him and was even willing to say that the case files had been destroyed, in order to protect Harry's secret.
In Season 3, she was hospitalized with terminal lung cancer. She was a great fan of key lime pie, and during her stay at the hospital and then at the hospice, she kept insisting that Dexter find the "perfect pie." She was eventually euthanized by Dexter, at her request; he placed the euthanizing agent within a piece of key lime pie, prompting her to note that he had finally brought her the perfect key lime pie.
Apparently, she realized that the Ice Truck Killer was Brian Moser, Dexter's brother, when she saw the news in the papers but at the same time, she didn't tell anyone else. She might also have unconsciously known or suspected that Dexter was a killer, hence the request to die at the hands of a friend. Just before she passed on, when she heard that Dexter was the one who killed his brother, she accepted the fact and praised him, saying that "It's good... you did".

Similarly, Dexter's brother Brian is the only victim of Dexter's to appear posthumously, as an illusion (others, such have Valerie Castillo and Miguel Prado have appeared as corpses).
