Austin was born in Orland Park, Illinois, and went to Carl Sandburg High School. After graduating from the University of Illinois (2007) and the University of Melbourne (2009), he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film and writing. He continues to work in in Los Angeles and New York as an actor, model, and writer. He is married to Rachel Lynn Brook.[1]
